Local Class A Driver (Local)
Dry Van/Container
-
We are looking for a local Class A driver to haul dry van and intermodal containers.
-
Must be able to efficiently and safely operate a semi tractor on and off-road.
-
Communicate with supervisor or dispatcher every day you are scheduled to work in regards to delivery instructions
-
Operate vehicle in a safe manner, using most direct legal route for transporting
-
Must be able to pay close attention to details with an emphasis on safety
-
Perform basic emergency roadside repairs
-
Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
-
Adhere to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as set forth by the US Department of Transportation
-
Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water on a daily basis
-
Ensure the truck is kept clean on the interior and exterior

Qualifications:
​
-
Minimum 2 years of Class A truck driving experience required
-
Class A license without restrictions (Must be able to drive manual 10 speed)
-
Doubles and Triples Endorsement may be required, depends on available trailers
-
Must be able to work long hours, but always home daily.

Be familiar with CA DOT regulations and permit requirements
-
Required to pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check
-
Required to have a current Medical Examiner Certificate
-
Required to have a valid Class A driver license and clean driving record

Knowledge of local rail yards a plus

Knowledge of Amazon Relay a plus

Double Bottom Dump Driver (Local)
Materials - Sand & Rock Delivery

We are looking for a Class A double bottom dump driver
-
Must be able to efficiently and safely operate a semi tractor and a set of doubles on and off-road.
